Motor Vehicle Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Tax Department Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The DMV will be at the Seward location On Wednesdays from 8:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Tax Sales is scheduled for March 1st, 2021 at the
Harvest Hall (1625 Fairground Circle, Seward).
Doors open at 8:00 a.m.
Tax Sales at 9:00 a.m.
Preregistration is encouraged.
Functions of the Treasurer’s Office
The office of the Seward County Treasurer collects and disburses real and personal property taxes and issues motor vehicle titles and registrations, driver licenses and learner permits, boat registrations and mobile park permits.

Seward County has an agreement with Certified Payments, Inc., an online payment company, to accept your real estate payments on-line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using your credit card. By submitting your payment through Certified Payments, you are agreeing to their terms and conditions. Please read all terms and conditions carefully.
Real Estate Payment – 2.49% convenience fee
Motor Vehicle Payment – 2.49% convenience fee
Credit cards may also be used for motor payments by going to the County Treasurer’s office, getting instructions, and calling an 800 number.

Seward County tax information from 1999 forward is being made available for viewing (and eventually for payments via credit card). Please call the Seward County Treasurer for tax sale and bankruptcy information.
