DARE

The Seward County Sheriff's Office currently provides Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) to fifth & sixth grade students at Centennial and St. Paul schools in Utica, as well as Our Redeemer Lutheran School in Staplehurst every three years.

The Sheriff's Office has provided D.A.R.E. since 1991. Investigator L. M. Borges is currently providing the core class curriculum in 45 minute blocks, 10 weeks in a row during the third semester. The D.A.R.E. curriculum has been updated twice since it's inception and is available at K-4, Middle School and High School levels. There are also lessons at community and senior citizen levels.

For information please visit the national website by clicking here or contact Investigator Borges directly at the Seward County Sheriff's Office at 402-643-2359.

Sheriff's Posse

The Seward County Sheriff’s Posse is not an official division of our office.
